With all the talk of additional dollar restrictions (40% surcharge) after the elections, this could be the tip of the iceberg. The old knock on effect, restrict Argentines traveling with extra charges which reduces load factor and airlines say bye bye. Buenos Aires, most expensive destination in the World.

Oh lovely. No comp for American, wonder what my next ticket to NY will cost :(

NON-stop flights from EZE to NYC will stop, but United will still be operating here.

Montevideo to NYC anyone?

PS- I'm not a United traveler, but those of us working in turismo would prefer not to see more barriers for travelers, but fewer.

I once saw a really cheap flight from JFK to Montivideo. However, I have never since been able to find it again.

But AeroCámpora has announced that it will fly nightly to New York. Don't all buy your tickets at once, now.
