Well here is a update I saw my file today and there is a letter for a DNI. There
is a catch my file is not complete I need my finger print card and record before
I can get the letter. The service say up till a couple months ago that the
process was not being followed in all cases. As been posted before there are new
immigration laws that were change in the last Two months. The service setup for
my documents to be translated into Spanish today it took me 15 minutes to get
everything done. It was so easy and if you need Document translated and
Certified let me know. I can give you the place we used it was 200 pesos for my
passport and Birth records to be Translated. I did not check into prices but
this included Translation and Certification. So next Wednesday I am getting my
Finger prints done with no waiting I hope with the service helping me. Then my
Letter of DNI process and the next week the Permanent Resident DNI. Some of you
my know that the requirements for Residents DNI have changed. I am lucky to find
this service since even if you have a child here there is now a TWO year renewal
period then Permanent DNI. Also as other people have said the Retired and
Property Owner is no longer Permanent. This service said they maybe can help get
that change to a Permanent DNI. They will review each case and let you know. If
you have not applied yet that is best. The service said that can make you
application for Permanent Resident DNI much easier. So I will let you all know
when I have my Permanent Resident DNI in my hand. This whole process will be
less than a month. I have also spoken to other people who are using them. Gary

Do I understand correctly that you have a child born in Argentina?
