Hi all, I successfully made the trip to Montevideo and bought a machine from https://www.pccompu.com.uy/

The staff are brilliant and prices are near USA prices. My only warning is that they don't always have things in stock, and in this case I had to wait a day for delivery into the store. Other than that, I can't fault them.

Having now seen Montevideo, I am seriously considering a permanent move there. Everything is better there.

Did you every play video games as a child? There was one called "Megaman" that I recall playing on Super Nintendo. If you are not familiar with it, each level of Megaman had a boss with a unique projectile or skill. As Megaman killed each one, his arm blaster added the defeated bosses projectile to his arsenal. As the game continues, defeating additional bosses requires finding the right blaster earned from previous boss defeats to exploit the current bosses weakness.

Where am I going with this? I think Americans and their culture have unique weaknesses, distinct from those of Argentines. And the culture of Argentina is effective at curing those weaknesses. I personally think that's why Americans in particular may find Argentina to be spiritually rewarding even though it lacks many of the amenities and organization that Americans are accustomed to. Just my personal opinion. I hope Montevideo gives you want you are looking for.
