Uruguay Banks

Maybe it depends on the type of account you have. When I was in Colonia a month ago they told me $500. US

i think all usd accounts are same in brou.

but at least they dud not swallow my money in 5 years unlike hsbc. who first ate all my money and then closed my account and never bothered to inform me.
 
They told me the minimum was $200 when I opened my account October, 2014. Maybe it depends on which account exec you get?! :)

I think you are right!

I opened a account with 500 usd 5 years ago and then withdrew 300 usd , 4 years ago in a ATM machine in NYC. And still had 157 usd till 2 weeks ago. Do the maths!
 
More importantly, are you guys also paying 55 usd for incoming transfer?
