Uruguay National Team's Dulce De Leche Shipment Confiscated

Whhhm, I haven't tasted a Dulce de Leche whilst in Spain..I seen these sweet stuff all over LatAm countries. I guess the Conquistadores brought it then propagated all over the Americas, isn't so ? Then which of the Americas countries has perfected the Dulce de Leche ,anyone in the know?

Hard to imagine that anyone would accept the responsibility for anything so foul.

I don't think condensed milk existed during the time of the Conquistadores.
But soon enough, some Argentine will claim that they invented the thing, as they always do.

I heard it was discovered somewhere in South America by accident. For some reason people were boiling milk with sugar and they forgot about it and left on the fire. That would basically be the way to make dulce de leche. It is not a Spanish delicacy, it is pretty much South American.

They also put termites in the Goalkeepers bed.

Someone still holding a grudge from the 1950s?
