US played great in the second half of the prolongation.

Yeah, that's when they finally woke up. They seemed tired (maybe just really hot?) from the start. Howard the goalie, however, played quite well from the beginning. Overall I'm pleased that we got so far!

Well, where is the power now????
(Somebody mentioned them in another thread between the real powers in futbol)

Stop being so Argentine! They look to place blame on anyone/anything other than themselves for losing.

Belgium was the better team today. They outplayed us. Simple.

The US is not a powerhouse in futbol. We are up-and-comers. However, we are happy to be a powerhouse in just about every other sport though (except cricket and Formula 1).

I was just sitting here trying to remember how many medals Argentina won in the last Winter Olympics ... or in the Summer Olympics before that ... or in the Winter Olympics before that ... or championships in Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Hockey, Lacrosse, Track and Field, Marathons, Triathlons, Shooting, Cycling, ...

... oh wait, I found one! Polo. And, Formula 1 if you count Fangio '54- '57.

There is nobody to blame, you should be happy that the US team went so far.
