Hello,

After returning to The US and attending a spanish cnoversation group I found that I would use these terms and confuse the Spanish speakers here. For example I automatically say things like, "de donde sos vos?" I am too accustomed to vos over tu. I Don't think it is a huge problem and I suspect I will change back to "tu" over time. I'm just curious about others experience.

Chau,

Still a very novice Spanish speaker ("speaker" would be too strong a term me thinks...), but I have made a very conscious effort that as I'm learning when it comes to those differences (vos/tu, different sound for the "ll" ...etc) I repeat both forms of a relevant word as I'm learning it, and always keep that in mind as I say it.

We'll see how that works as I actually learn more.

I don't think it makes a difference - anyone who knows Spanish will understand you.

I still use vosotros and tu since that's how I've spoken since I was little. I don't care if my Spanish accent is noticeable.
