You forgot a minor detail...."halt all public works" to reduce the deficit to prevent a YOY hyperinflation of 289% from ruining the country and a riesgo pais of 2500 from threatening to plummet the country into a sovereign debt crisis. Also, lest we forget, Milei & Co. halted all public works, including Vaca Muerta, when he was coronated...ooops I mean inaugurated, bc, you know, deficits. This triggered a domestic shortage of LPG. Encima, Milei, being a very petty person a la Trump, had to change the name of the gasoducto as part of the LLA's overall plan to try to erase the name Kirchner from Argentine history. He won't succeed.
Always remember - HALT all public works when there is deficit! That is what the those beloved Austrian School economics textbooks of Milei's say!
Won't be long now till Argentina starts issuing oil dividends to its citizens like Saudi Arabia or Qatar
Only half joking, but the newfound wealth from resource exploitation will be a big boost for the country

Tucuman is missing from the map - and this was published by the governmentIt will be interesting to follow this graphic in the future and see if the trend continues.
Jujuy, Salta, Catamarca, San Juan, Mendoza, Neuquen all have resources industries (mines, oil, gas). LaRioja does as well, but still early phases not more developed projects yet.
Rio Negro has the pipelines and port infrastructure.
The state and federal governments only get money from taxes, royalties and infrastructure funds currently.
Maybe in the future they can setup a corporation or invest for equity in the operations.
Maybe YPF will expand beyond just the petroleum industry.
