At this rate even with today's shipment from China, it will still take Argentina 10 years to vaccinate 75% of the population. Versus Brazil 2 years, Chile less than a year.

Hugo Moyano was vaccinated together with his family, but none appears in the official records as an employee of the Sanatorio Antarctica. It was confirmed by the City of BA gov't, which demanded the information because only registered health personnel could apply for the Sputnik V. The opposition suspects that there are many trade unionists in the same situation. What is the sixth dose and why it could explain hidden vaccinations.

Hugo Moyano, his wife Liliana Zulet and their youngest son, Jerónimo, 20, were vaccinated against COVID-19 as members of the staff of the Sanatorio Antarctica, as admitted by the leader of the Truckers Union, but none of the three was included as a member of that health establishment in the form originally received by the Gov't of the city of Buenos Aires before allocating the doses of Sputnik V. This was confirmed to Infobae by the BA gov't: "As employees they did not appear," they warned. According to the number of dependents of the sanatorium in the neighborhood of Caballito, the Antarctica was assigned 700 first doses of the Russian vaccine. However, that absence of Moyano and his family in the form submitted is, for Horacio Rodríguez Larreta's team, an irregularity that must be clarified as soon as possible.

That is why the City Health Minister, Fernán Quirós, this week sent a note to the legal and technical manager of the Truckers Union sanatorium to return the list of employees who have been vaccinated there, the amount of vaccines that were applied and the doses they still have. He also asked him to confirm whether the union leader, his wife and their youngest son were indeed vaccinated and, if the answer is yes, to explain the reason why Sputnik V was applied to them....

....Until this Friday (Feb 26), the Buenos Aires Minister of Health had not received any response to his note addressed to the Sanatorio Antarctica. When the discharge arrives and if the explanations are not adjusted to the legal norms, the City Gov't could cancel the signed agreement to provide the vaccines. In addition, the Justice Dept is already investigating complaints about irregularities in the application of vaccines to officials, politicians, trade unionists, activists, family members and friends and could intervene if it is found that Moyano did not comply with the vaccination protocol of the Ministry of Health of the Nation....

It is almost unbelievable that there are still frontline health workers in the country dealing with patients day after day to keep people alive who have still not had the opportunity to be vaccinated, while desk jockeys that will never see a patient face to face feel they are entitled to a vaccine now.
