Warning about working at one time events in bars/restaurants

Hey Napoleon (and anyone else)

Has that kind of thing, the silly, unwarranted social meanness, like taking the other team's side in a fight against your foreign teammate, increased in the past year or so, in your opinion?

This was in ~October of 2010. Things got chippier and chippier on the field, so I stopped going for about 13 months. As soon as a lot of the English guys moved back and there was only one or two extranjero, it calmed down. This group of guys are fairly well paid and well educated. It's not normally a rough crowd, but they didn't take to kindly to getting their asses handed to them on the footie pitch.
