100% believe it but it has been like this for a very long time. Argentina (and Argentines) truly hate and fear competition which paradoxically makes it a good place to do business if you have your place in the market and can benefit from that.

The end result? The amazing quality and prices we enjoy as a consequence of all the innovation it generates in all things produced here.

Funny because it's true.. It takes a lot to try maintain a business here - imagine having to change your prices every week and deal with suppliers who are doing the same.

(Un)fortunately I don’t need to imagine it - while it’s not quite every week, it certainly keeps us on our toes ... and if it’s not prices changing it’s some administrative surprise or union surprise or bank surprise etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
