This morning, the exchange rate from western union is 84. I am getting two months of expenses ahead. Who knows what will happen? Everything in Italy is closed except for pharmacies and grocery stores. I have been in Milan, a huge bustling city before the lock down. It could happen here. Don't panic, but be prepared.

Actually, now @ 08:12 Friday, it's 86.51. Have been thinking in the same vein to stock up pesos here in advance.

Getting ready to transfer some money from usa to WU here in BA. If I use my usa passport for ID at WU, do they want a copy of only the face page, or of entry pages as well? thanks

Seriously....keep a reserve of cash on hand. That comes first. Pesos. As much as you can afford.

All supermarkets accept credit cards and most of the small shops in the barrio near my house accpet them
