Come on, Jtee, you've been here long enough now to know that things in Argentina don't have a logical explanation, or a cause-and-effect relationship. Things just happen. Because Argentina.

I'd say a desperate intervention by the govt to keep it under 1000 before the election. Inevitably it will though after the election. Indeed it did jump over 1000 last week for a bit.

I do wonder the odds of whether Sunday will be decisive or not, struggle to find any betting companies offering odds for the election

Here is the latest issue. I contacted a couple of the places
(Cambio stores) that I have used to convert to USD and they are NOT coming
down to the Blue Levels, they are still converting to USD at 1000.
I have not been to Florida street, does anyone know what
they are converting at?

As I mentioned the Cambio Stores were all selling USD at 1000 to $1 usd
It certainly seems it is going to be a Wild Ride for some time.

That's odd, both the "Dolar Blue Hoy" and the "Ambito Dolar" apps I have on my phone say 880-900 right now.
