I will make a transfer (regardless of the rate) on Friday, the third of October.

I expect the rate to be between $1,400 and $1,450.

I will exchange as soon after midnight tonight as my October SSA payment appears in my Schwab account.

i just tried to make westernunion transfer. i have used same info for years with no problem, my bank in us to arg bank. a notice appeared that "arg recepient must now verify identity after three transfers"..(.i have done 10 this year.) i continued with transfer, then transfer was declined, saying try another payment method. i tried multiple times using my us debit card instead of us bank and it still would not go through. anyone else having similar problems?

I made a transfer yesterday with no issues. I've had some cards that don't work for no apparent reason, but I haven't come across this yet. I've probably done more than three transfers in the last month...

i tried western union again, and my transfer went through no problem! maybe the web site was swamped when i tried my attempt this morning that kept failing...sorry for the false alarm....

I have not yet made the transfer, even though the rate was still $1,561 every time I checked it this morning.

I did not make the transfer because I have not yet recieved the October SSA payment, which "should" have been deposited early this morning.

The current government "shut down" should not have affected the payment schedule.

And now the rate is down to $1.528 ($20.000ar less on a $600USD transfer, which was the intended amount).
