In the US they're called rag rugs (I think) because that's what they are.
I looked in ML but couldn't find any.
Any ideas????ragrug.jpg.png

this looks like it's woven as well, those are nicer, but i wonder if they are less durable than the rag rugs

Also from the seller of the first rug in my previous post (at the lowest price for its size)t:

You might also look for them in some of the shops that sell a lot of cheap kitchen stuff.

Thank you one and all for your help.
I would have never figured it out.”costado de Cama?”
They seem reasonably prized in ML.
Thank you.

Try looking for "alfombras de trapillo" or "alfombras de totora". They are more like the rag rugs found in the USA.

Here is an "alfombras de trapillo" very similar to the photo in the first post.

It´s higher priced but also largerthan the one´s in the links I previously provided.

Most of the rugs in the category "alfombras de trapillo" are even higher priced but also appear to be much higher quality than anything that would be considered a "rag" rug:

Never knew what they were called until now. I always thought they were more Peruvian than Argentine however. We use one underneath the dogs water bowl to stop it slipping.
