What happens if I overstay my tourist visa by 90 additional days?

I entered in December of 2020 using my son's birth certificate as permission to enter to see him.

Please post how this turns out, it's an entry category that has never before existed in Argentina so I would say what happened to someone a few years back is not a good metric for what could happen in the context of the pandemic.

Since march 14th 2020 you cannot overstay because time is frozen. To pay the exit fine cleans you record. You can pay it without leaving (recent Court precedent). I wouldn’t worry about that.
But the whole idea of being irregular is over, apply for citizenahip or legal residency.

I was advised by an immigration attorney that a person cannot change their status from entering under a "desembarco previsorio". Was I told wrong?
