The title is accurate - data are given for the Bay Area, in a direct response to your comment. ("...SF bay is mostly men at any rate.")

And, FFS...less than four percent male population dominance in the City? Not very significant in a population over 800K.

Ya. But SF also is well known for not having a lot of children.

It’s like the young techie and gay capital. Not gonna see a lot of kids there. Also need women to have babies in general. And SF bay is mostly men at any rate.

This is a percentage so it doesn't matter the total. To be honest this whole poverty pleading argument is quite repugnant.

Most smart money know that SF is a dump now. The largest hotel is just walking away from their investment and letting the bank take it back. They don't see any turn around in the near future.
