What to do on the long weekend

hi out there,

i am new in bs.as. since about 10 days now. i was reading through this forum several times so far and now decided to join as it seems to be great way to make the first steps in argentina.

i moved to bs.as. from germany for working purposes and will stay here for at least two years, working for a german based company. i am here on my own and would be happy about some hints about what to do this weekend with the main purpose to meet some people. i already know all the tourist stuff as it is not my first time in this city. but what about for example some good bars or pubs (something casual, nothing fancy) i can easily go on my own tomorrow night, have some beers and get in touch with some expats and locals. i am fluent in english and german and also my spanish is not bad at all.

anybody of the other newbees or veterans interested in a beer or two tomorrow?
