What's Your Favorite Splurge (Food)

Went to La Mar. Beautiful outdoor dining. Excellent ceviche. And had a whole fish and a beautiful Pinot Noir. Expensive but worth it.

What are your favorite places to go on a splurge?

I am admittedly a bit of a homebody, so my occasional "splurge" is to order sushi delivery to my apartment from Che Sushi

I go there once a year when the docs in the Aleman give me the green light after my annual check up

La Carniceria. his goat cheese proveleta, his chori, his salads- I like everything there, and the meat is great.

I still like Sucre, an oldie but still a goodie, and Las Pizzaras, too.

I went to Oveido once, and wasnt wowed- but maybe I ordered the wrong thing.

Duhau Restaurante at Hyatt.

I love its extraordinary ambience.

Prices are high. Not for the budget traveler or expat.
