facebook marketplace is great for a cheap used bike....it really depends on your needs and tatse....

Bike theft is endemic in most of the major cities in the world and Facebook Marketplace floats to the top of the bike-laundering cesspool in nearly every one. Cyclists too are becoming ever more ingenious in their efforts to recover their stolen bikes (quite rightly so IMO) so ones appetite for risk should be brought into play here.

exactly why I would never buy one there. I won't take a chance of supporting scum who steal from others
