Where to donate used clothes?

What about the round church on Juramento, near Cabildo? I think they run a charity there or right accross Juramento.

we had a great experience with the salvation army. we called them up, set up a time for them to come pick it up, they came (on time!!), and even gave us a receipt for what we had donated. Phone number - 4911-7585.

Ignored they do pick ups. They're on Rivadavia past Once and that's why I did not mention them. Cottolengo Don Orione is also a well known charity but I think they're on 9 de Julio and Libertador.

Some charities are picky, can you believe that?

If there is a decent amount, the Centro de Donaciones Don Orione will also do pick-ups. If not, you can bring them to the Red Cross, which is nearby in Colegiales (Cordoba 6434)...It's the Villa Crespo branch, but its not actually in V Crespo!
Alternatively, I think Un techo para mi pais, is still collecting clothes for those people in the BA provinces affected by the recent flooding.

Can you tell me more about this? Do I just go to the church and drop off my stuff?

Caritas is a catholic charity that takes used clothes. There is a drop off box in Carrefour locations. I am in Belgrano and I make my drop offs at the Carrefour location at Monroe / Arribeños.

All proceeds benefit the BABS retirement home in Devoto. This is a very worthy organization that needs support. Princess Diana supported BABS and made a visit there when she was in Argentina.

Thanks for posting I didnt know about the British American Benevolent Society - BABS

Searching I found this article explaining more:
