Are they still around? Regardless, I'd like to know where to find the best rates. I'm curious about Palermo, there used to be one on Scalabrini Ortiz about a block or two up from Santa Fe walking toward Cordoba, on the left side.

In Centro, I used to visit one on Lavalle. Walk to the restaurant "Acapulco" at 750 Lavalle, I think. Face the restaurant. Then do a 180 degrees and you will see a galleria with a pasillo. Walk up the stairs. About 100 meters on your right will be a glass window storefront with jackets hanging in the window to obscure the view. Go in there between 12 and 5. Silvia always gave me excellent rates compared to what other cuevas offered.
