Where to get 100% GRASS-FED beef?!?

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a myth. But very difficult to find, especially in the city. You can get a clue by the color of the fat.

I'll look into Las Lilas, thanks.

There should be more sources. I'm sure there are. I'd also buy it in bulk, luckily I've got a freezer. I'm limited in my research abilities as I don't speak Spanish. Hopefully, somebody here will have a clue!

Red meat is healthy if it's grass-fed and antibiotic/hormone free and cooked correctly. Morally I can accept it if the cattle has been raised and killed in the most human way possible.

I took some bio-chem classes on the topics nutrition and digestion so I've got some background. PLEASE do not start a discussion about this topic here, open another thread. Thanks. I posted this to show why I'm so passionate about finding the right meat sources.

Good post Jake and its true that the food industry is actively trying to poison people especially in Argentina where Monsanto is King.

If you look at the people in the city including me:p we are being poisoned by big business and their hormone fed meat and the pushing of unnatural preservatives in all foods including fructose. There is a huge correlation between modern diet and obesity .

The caveman diet is the most healthy and natural for human beings

Actually - it's true & not true. Most cattle is still free-range for a while. However, a few months before slaughter, they are moved to the feedlots to fatten them up before going to market.

Or at least that's what people I know in the cattle industry do/tell me.

I've noticed the quality of beef has gone downhill in my local butchers over the last few years, maybe with inflation they just downgrade to a cheaper more profitable beef to sell

Citygirl is correct. They fatten them up to 180 kilos to get best price for minimum weight.
