It is fascinating to me sometimes how alien the concept of minding your own business and non-interventionism are for the average American reporter or news reader.
The fact that most of the Brazilian public (or Argentine, Chilean, Colombian, Peruvian, etc...) wants to have nothing to do with Venezuela's internal struggles is unimaginable to them.
And thus we have pieces like this one.

The article is excellently researched and well written.The author lives in Rio de Janeiro,most likely speaks fluent Portuguese, and employs precise explantory quotes from key political personalities in the region to support and illucidate his ideas.Come on,please. Latins comment on other L.A. countries' political and economic situations all the time. I have visited every country mentioned and most of Central America and Cuba and these topics were always high up on the locals' conversation agenda.However,their governments don't take too much of a critical stance on each other because," entre bomberos no queremos pisarnos la manguera" so to speak.
