Worldcoin crypto currency has landed in Argentina. They pay people to get their eyes scanned and in the process take your personal information. This is worse than George Orwell's “1984”.
Worldcoin created its own crypto token, called WLD, and has offered 25 units (currently worth about $60) to anyone who scanned their eyes into an orb. That offer does not extend to the U.S., however, due to the country’s strict regulatory environment related to crypto products. Caveat Emptor….

Ah Sam Altman's crypto; the guy whose company OpenAI is being sued by the NYTimes for massive data scraping and copyright infringement... when he's not trying to collect everyone's retina biodata. Ojo, as they say.

Seeing that everybody is suddenly so concerned about his identifying biological information, how do you guys pass the security controls in Ezeiza where fingerprinting is required? Do they have to sedate you to take your fingerprints? Or beat you into submission?

By the way, in many countries, an iris scan is required to get a biometric passport these days.

Don't know anything about this WorldCoin thing, but at least it looks like nobody forces you to use it.

Let's not forget the best spy device ever, which collects all of those personal info, and much more. In combination with dna tests I don't really know what more could you give away. Working for one international company from that field I can assure you there is basically free flow of all this information, and don't think any border or ideology is obstacle...
