Has Anyone Ever Brought A Dog From Eze To The States?

Hello! I brought my dog from the States to Argentina and back again. I have TONS of info on this and I wrote several articles about it. I did not sue a broker and you in no way have to. If you do it on your own it will cost you several hundred for sure but no where near 2000. I would be happy...

    Tech guy

Ricardo is actually incredibly professional and helpful. I went to him with my old laptop, knowing it was on its last leg. I told him I just needed it to live for a few more months and asked him to give me his honest opinion. He could have overcharged me, made up issues, given me a bad...

Stroll through used photo camera shops in BA

Try this website: http://www.stolencamerafinder.com/ Of course, no guarantees that the Argentine authorities would be able to help you but a lot of people have found their cameras this way! Good luck!

How much do babysitters normaly charge?

It definitely depends on a few things such as where the house is located, how many kids, at what time, etc As sivan said, 30-40 pesos would be normal but I would not be surprised if you were offered less. Generally, if you are babysitting for expats they will pay you more in that range because...

Expat Meetup - Friday January 13th!

Sadly, I am leaving Buenos Aires on January 24th. It is very bittersweet. At the picnic I organized last weekend, many people requested that I organize one last dinner. I am touched that so many of you have enjoyed the regular meetups I have arranged so I am , of course, more than happy to do...

    AuPairInArgentina.com Scam

I worked for this agency too. I ended up letting a girl live with me because she had the same issue with being kicked out of her family's house. I also helped two other AU Pairs who had family issues and never got help from the agency. Pretty terrible.

    Wendy's is back...

I just saw a Wendy's last night and was shocked. I don't eat fast food but I used to enjoy the occasional spicy chicken sandwich. Wendy's is so weird, it comes and goes in lots of cities. We always had them in my city growing up then they disappeared for about 3 years, now they are making a come...

Expat Meetup- Picnic! Jan 8th at noon

It doesn´t have to be but there is no where to cook the meat, so you would have to bring pre-cooked and cold or just fiambres. I personally don´t eat it but I am sure there will be plenty of people that do!

    Summer recipes- care to share?

One thing I love about summer is that you only want lighter food (most of the time!) but since I live alone, leafy salads tend to go bad quickly. Anyone up for sharing some recipes? Here´s one of my favourites (so easy and it holds well for a few days) 4 bean salad All you need is red wine...

    Favorite thing about holidays abroad?

I am sure the holidays in Argentina are quite different from the holidays wherever you are from. Of course we always miss certain things (no white Christmases here!) but I am interested to know what part of the holidays in Argentina are your favorite.

Expat Meetup- Picnic! Jan 8th at noon

I forgot a time! I will arrive at noon. Everyone come around then so we can start eating! Also, it is really awkward for me to sit under a sign that says PICNIC all by myself. And for those of you who asked- YES you are welcome. Everyone who is on this forum (and their friends!) are welcome to...

Expat Meetup- Picnic! Jan 8th at noon

The last picnic went so well I thought I would do another one right after the new year. Learning from last time, I am providing much more details. I have attached a map with where to meet in the Bosques de Palermo. For those of you who made it last time, it is the same place. For the rest of...
