Thanks, I strongly suspect we won't be able to get any official answer on this as the knowledge would provide such a great possible loophole for non-legit users, and we all know "hecha la ley, hecha la trampa". If anyone has personal contacts in the aduana I think that`s the only possible route...

Yeah, that looks like the best bet. She had been thinking of trying to get the cash here so I could at least purchase some momentos of her time here and send them to her but no-one even wants to touch pesos outside Argentina these days ;-) (or that much inside)
