    Dating in Argentina vs Dating in US/UK....

    Not really, but I’m guessing most are dating women/men they either met on dating sites, nightlife areas (which many are in upscale areas) or events that bring people together like Meetups or dance classes. I’m sure the chance of finding people in Palermo/Recoleta is higher of these are the...

    Dating in Argentina vs Dating in US/UK....

    Likely the heavy European influence compared to other South American countries (?) (I don’t agree with it, I also find it interesting)

    Dating in Argentina vs Dating in US/UK....

    No all is well :), was just curious due to the cultural differences I’m sure I will still check out a boliche though, seems best to make local friends to have a good time. A little dancing never hurt anyone

    Dating in Argentina vs Dating in US/UK....

    I could be totally wrong here about some Definitely seems like more adults stay at home, could be culturally (ie Italy), financial or both. Can see a lot of similarities with Italy specifically

    Dating in Argentina vs Dating in US/UK....

    It’s funny, a lot of my friends from US/UK say many of the women prefer Argentinian men (especially compared to countries like Brazil/Colombia where there is more interest or at least curiosity)in foreigners but then my friend who grew up Buenos Aires says girls there like foreigners a lot and...

    FEIE- Foriegn Earned Income Exclusion (USA)

    “Thankfully, the U.S. government has put measures in place to limit the amount of U.S. tax payable to its citizens working abroad, particularly if they’re paying taxes elsewhere, OR if they’re earning less than $100,000 a year. As such, the majority of Americans working remotely abroad won’t...

    FEIE- Foriegn Earned Income Exclusion (USA)

    Interesting....I thought if I was out the country for 330+ days of the year AND wasn’t staying a long period of time in a country it wouldn’t matter (For example, if I did less than 3 months in four countries over the span of the year but none of those are the US)

    FEIE- Foriegn Earned Income Exclusion (USA)

    Thank you. Would be working for a US company remotely so not self-employed. No state taxes either (Florida) :)

    FEIE- Foriegn Earned Income Exclusion (USA)

    Hey all, * Understand I can/will go to a tax specialist with specific questions on this * Since some I’m guessing are from the US and working remote in Argentina- I believe under the FEIE if you make under a certain amount of USD (it’s $107,000 or so) you don’t have to pay taxes if you are in...

    Hyperinflation ante portas

    Yes I realized that was a tough question xD

    Hyperinflation ante portas

    Already have 5% of a BTC (about half the amount you mentioned at the current price) but planning on getting more :)

    Hyperinflation ante portas

    Thank you, that last point did a great job describing it. I would likely arrive in July then stay 6-12 months (or longer) if all is well :)

    Hyperinflation ante portas

    Sure, but I’m guessing if the official rate drops off so will the blue dollar? 5-10% isn’t a big deal but if it went up 30%+ that’s different, especially if there’s other countries with stable currencies

    Hyperinflation ante portas

    I’ve seen mostly predictions that inflation will continue in Argentina. Have there been any predictions for 2022-2024? Would love to plan my next year in Argentina but since I don’t leave until July I have no idea what it will be like then.

    26M UK -> Argentina

    I would recommend $2,000 a month (USD) of steady income for younger travelers (18-30) who don’t have money saved up ahead of time. Doesn’t mean you have to save, but your quality of life shouldn’t be decreasing if you are going from first world to third world and have access to USD

    26M UK -> Argentina

    That’s it, very few understand it and I’d argue (at least in the US) that very few are curious enough to explore. Many would think “Why would I live in some horrible unsafe country in bad conditions?” I would instead think of what an awesome place I could theoretically get in a place like...

    Football/Soccer in Argentina....

    Thanks for the response, interesting. Must have been CRAZY to be there when Boca and River played each other in the final of the Copa Libertadores in the 2018 final. I understand what you mean with the "fake fan"...my parents are from Glasgow are just about anyone (whether they are a hardcore...

    Football/Soccer in Argentina....

    Would be curious to see how the daily Football culture compares to those that grew up in the UK. I'm assuming it's a lot more present than Basketball/American Football for those that grew up in the US. From the outside looking in Argentina has some of the craziest supporters in the world, Boca...
