A friend is considering volunteering at Voluntario Global (http://www.voluntarioglobal.org.ar/) . Does anyone have any recent information/experience with them? Since it's fairly expensive she wants to make sure they're legitimate.

No. You need to apply for an Uruguay visa here in BA to enter Uruguay. That visa will be valid up to Sept 28. It does not make any difference to your Argentina visa.

I'm the one who created this thread. Ended up getting the Monedero card without having to present any ID at the Monedero office at Estación Tribunales of línea D. This card has changed my life :)
