    Buenos Aires En Bici

I registered back in April, first by filling out the application online, and then going to one of the places with my passport, a copy of the main page, and a copy of the entry stamp. The guy told me that after ninety days (or whatever it was at that point) to just bring in a copy of the new...

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

Quite sure. I bought a bottle. Squid brand, all Thai lable and a picture of a squid on the bottle. There were a couple. I saw the oyster sauce you speak of as well.

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

I went back today as well and found more than enough of every type in the big market off Mendoza. Also, fish sauce. Just finished murdering some panang beef. Thx all.

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

Meaning not on Arribeños? I checked all the ones yesterday on Arribeños and they were tapped (both Casa Chinas and Ichiban, I believe)

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

There was definitely something that looked like that in all the shops. Not sure if it was the exact same thing. Whatever it was, it did say "curry sauce mix". Not what I'm looking for though, unfortunately.

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

I am pretty sure I looked at that one. There was only two big bags of green curry paste. And yeah, no fish sauce either.

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

Wasn't looking specifically, but I don't think there was any. Just that sauce mix in a box.

No Curry Paste In Barrio Chino

Today I scoured the usual places in Chinatown to get Thai curry paste and found none of the little vacuum sealed packs of red/green/panang I have found in the past. Anybody know anywhere else to look? All I did find was some garbage in a box marked "curry sauce mix" from China.

Travelling While Waiting For Argentine Work Visa

Hi all, Myself (an American) and a fellow colleague (an Australian) are both in the process of getting work visas here in Argentina. We have done all the prerequisites and Imigraciones has our stuff (background checks, all that other junk), and it´s processing or whatever. The question is...

Getting A Us Tourist Visa For Brazilian Gf

Hi folks, I read some good stuff on here about couples with significant others getting tourist visas to visit the states with the general consensus being "tell the truth and see what happens" vs "lie about relationship status." Great. However, my gf is really nervous about the whole things...

    Fbi Report

I too am in this process. I had the request mailed from the States (as I had a friend on his way back) and it was received according to the USPS, on May 3rd. I am still waiting. My coworkers who applied for the same thing said they waited anywhere from two to three months before they actually...

    3 Strikes Your Out.

A week ago I did the Colonia run without anyone even batting an eyelash at me. I have been here for a year without overstaying--always leaving at 90 days or before and coming back. To be fair though, last time I left I was in Brazil for a month before coming back. still, like a said, no...

    Decent Parrilla Libres?

Hi all, I've got friends in town and want to haul them somewhere to get stuffed full of meat. I know about Siga la Vaca, but it seems to touristy and expensive. Does anyone know of any other good Parrilla Libres? Location/Price/Quality/etc.? Cheers.

    Us Consulate Exchange Rate?

That is a good quesiton, and I unfortunately cannot answer it. HOWEVER, I recently had dealings with the Brazilian consulate in obtaining a visa and they used the official rate (granted converted twice converted from 160 USD to Reales to 800 Pesos.)

    Buying Reales With Pesos

Thanks, but I was aware of the legal situation. To clarify: I want to know if anyone has recent experience getting reales outside of the official government jerk-around, or had success buying them in Brazil with pesos--as you mention , in the airport or casa de cambio, etc...).

    Buying Reales With Pesos

Hi guys, I'm going to Brazil over the holiday season and I'm wondering if anyone has any recent experience either buying reales here in BsAs (which, as I understand it is the same as trying to get dollars) or converting pesos to reales once in Brazil. Thoughts?

    SUBE card

Maybe they are supposed to be free, but a friend and I went into a OCA store in Palermo (somewhere near Fitz Roy and Charcas) and the lady there sold us both cards for 10 pesos. This was after visiting multiple correos and being turned away because they didn't have any, or we weren't carrying...
