Any advice on buying a condo in BA. Trustworthy realtors and companies?

My property manager is usually recommended here, but has an EXTREMELY hard time finding building trades people, even if I suggest some for him. Is that just my own experience - or is it a bad time to buy properties that will require work ?

    Sleeping pills

Thanks Nikad. Actually, I don´t do well with what I am getting in my home country, but the clinic I belong to only gives Clonazepam (AKA Klonopin in some countries). But even Klonopin would be better than nothing.

Argentines protest Milei's economic shock therapy

Thanks for this ! For God´s sake, I wish some one with the power would free the hostages from BOTH sides and free Gaza so that those people will survive. Imagine people, still alive, buried under rubble for days !

Rental Law Will be Repealed Tomorrow, by Decree

Rental laws in USA vary greatly from place to place. In some cases, tenants have too many rights, which often leads to a shortage of rental properties and thus, higher rents.

Rental Law Will be Repealed Tomorrow, by Decree

Delinquent tenants who stay on for months without paying, damage the property and disturb other renters have the upper hand. That is because there are more tenant voters than landlords.

Property Mgr. leaves bldg. at risk

The lawyer tells me the party who left the junk on the roof could sue me for taking it away, which is why I might consider holding my nose and using a lawyer. (From what I hear, there are many large and heavy items. It appears the only feasible way to move them is to hire a crane and tale them...

Property Mgr. leaves bldg. at risk

Thanks so much for your thoughts ! The building preceeds the time of condos, so each person owns their own unit only. The only possible common element is the roof. I am the only one who´s put money into the roof, and it´s been a lot over the years. In fact, if the roof leaks, other owners...

Property Mgr. leaves bldg. at risk

From our email messages, it appeared my property manager was going to repair the roof of a building where I have the top floor. There was "junky" type stuff left on the roof by another owner, which had to be moved in order for the roof work to be done. (It is not a condo.) So, he got his...

Signing a rental contract from out of province ?

My tenant´s lease expired November 21. From what I understand, she asked my property manager for a 3 month extension, as this is not a convenient time to move. She is currently in another province at her holiday property. As I understand, no money has yet been paid for this extension. In...

Argentina’s union mafias are a warning to America

I think the portera system is very inefficient at times. When the floors, ec. are clean, they read novels. A non-union caretaker could do some minor repairs, ec, if he had spare hours during the work day.

Economists warn electing Milei would spell devastation

The only thing I have heard about that is Milei stating concern that only 6 (?) or 7 million Argentinians work for private enterprise. From my limited recent experience, I see a very large labout shortage, at least in contrstuction. If the job is too large, they leave without even discussing...
