Ok, here we go again. I know that you will tease me about what I am going to tell you, but... my mother bought 10 kilos of different kinds of meat from one of the "Carne Para Todos" trucks ("meat for everybody", a government plan) in one middle-low class neighborhood in the suburbs. It was.. wait for it... 8 pesos per kilo. Yep, you heard it right. 8 pesos. 8 pesos. 8 pesos. I can´t believe it myself.

I don´t know yet about the quality, it seemed nice meat.

i bought half a chicken from coto once that was crazily cheap.. i suspect it was subsidised too.
