The government would be so stupid to call them as foreigners. They got rights in Argentina, like Argentines have in those countries. It’s like a German politician calling a French person studying in Germany as a foreigner. If Argentina is out of Mercosur then they’re foreigners but at the moment no. And also there are many Argentines in Brazil etc benefiting from Mercosur.

Medical education being free for foreigners is extremely ridiculous. UBA. Seriously one of the best universities in the world. They become doctors and leave. Argentine universities are for Argentines (for free).

Nope it doesn’t include. If you’re a naturalized citizen or a permanent resident then you’re a local. You can freely benefit from anything public. It’s your right!

However the UBA Dean stated that all foreign students in Graduate programs are permanent residents .

The total number of foreign students amounts to 4.3%

To be fair, they also said "In PBA, only 0.2% of consultations and 0.8% of hospitalizations correspond to foreigners”, so I guess they're not going to devote time to what they consider to be a non-problem.

Absolutely not!! Where did you get that from? Never said that. But I am completely against the Argentina immigration policy where foreigners can come and get a free education and work during their studies. What’s the contribution to Argentina here?

Living in the EU as an EU citizen I’m quite aware of how people feel about other Eu citizens. But the politicians definitely do not share the same opinion as the populace. And no German sees a French person as a foreigner. I’m sure there are exceptions. I think EU is the happiest place on earth. With what it has and what offers to its citizens.

I was in Amsterdam some time ago, at a tavern/restaurant. I thought I'd use my 7 years of French to impress my guest but the waiter said it wasn't necessary to speak that language. So, to really turn on the charm I ordered a beer, in German, having spent months in that country. The waiter then said " do you want the German treatment?" I asked what that was and was (laughingly) told they'd spit on my food and serve me drinks in a glass dipped in a toilet.

So much for WWII memories from a 20 something year old waiter.

That doesn't sound happy to me.
