It is unrealistic for anyone to plan on "permanently" resettling in a foreign country without first experimenting. OP, come to BA, preferably not in summer months of Jan and Feb when weather is hot and muggy, rent a furnished apt for a few months, and determine whether you want to extend your exploration after you have lived here. Then you will be a better position to think about a permanent relocation.

I think he is one of the few "wannabe expats" who really has a good shot at "making it" in BA, and I can't see any harm in trying. If he hasn't found the kind of job he wants in six months he can apply for the visa rentista and stay on. The visa rentista might put his trust fund income in the crosshairs of AFIP (for taxation), so it might be even better simply to stay until he finds a job or decides to leave.
Just to clarify one point for the OP: You wiill be able to get a DNI as soon as you are granted a work visa:
