AFIP and international credit card use regulations?

Just in Colonia today and they were "accepting" pesos -- sure --- but at a rate that equals 8 Argentine pesos to the dollar!!!!

Seems very likely that the govt will restrict use of credit cards abroad. Since this only affects a small percntage of the population the govt will probably be able to get away with it. These are really horrible times for middle class / professional people who have aspirations to own their own home, travel and have some sort of life that resembles life in North America, developed Europe etc.

The United States have started offerning "green cards" the wealthy individuals who can purchase a property over us$500,000.

The next stage of this process will be wealthy individuals as well as appropriately qualified professionals moving away and taking their cash and skills with them,
