Airliner Shot Down?

Seems the separatists (pro russian) posted a Tweet (last month?) and deleted it (it seems today, unsure).

Can someone translate?

I get the impression someone trigger happy made a huge mistake.

The rebels are apparently quickly removing old posts about their ground to air missiles they have.

Saying they can't shoot that high whilst distancing themselves from social media accounts that claim to be the guy in charge.

Spoke to Ukraine separatist leader Tsarev. Says they don't have the weapons to take down #MH17. Hung up when asked about their BUK missiles

Self-propelled anti-aircraft missile systems "Buk" in the territory of anti-missile defense regiment A1402 take control of the DNI.

such a complete tragedy.. I pray for the families who have lost loved ones

Praying (or should we should say "Preying?) accomplishes nothing. The victims will still be dead, but the families deserve compensation from the responsible parties.

In Eastern Europe many military transport aircraft and civilian aircraft are essentially the same. It is hard to mistake a B777 for anything but a civilian aircraft. They are distinctive even with the naked eye at 35.000 feet.

Again, we don't have any confirmation that a missile brought down the aircraft. From the photos and videos that are being posted it is obvious that the aircraft broke up in mid-air.

Ukrainian AN-26 have the bottom part painted in gray, just like the Malaysian plane (could be an explanation?).
