how about a happy hour on thursday or something???? i am always up for a beer... and it is true at 45 it hard to find friends and find a beer drinking buddy ...haha most people i meet are 25-30 and here for school or teaching.... and i am not ready to hit the discos at 2am and stay out till 7am..haha
well liam drop me a note sometime... my girlfriend lives in avellanda... we can for sure have a drink sometime when i am over that way.. meet at the casino or something??? well cheers to all!!!

Well I just turned 41 in August, Argentine born but grew up in the States. I moved back to Buenos Aires to live here permanently back in July 2009. There are quite a few of us in the same situation. Any expats over 40 way outside of GBA? Would love to get together. (Hey, if US, we can do Thanksgiving--I brought back cranberry sauce from last visit.)...I'm in San Nicolas, the northernmost city of the province of BA (and thus closer to Rosario)...have found only one other English speaking expat so far....so I read this forum and enjoy seeng what goes on in the Big City.

We need a Happy Hour.... well I will be at the Wherever Bar it is in palermo santa fe and oro.... I will be there at 5pm on Thursday nov 12th .. the happy hour is 5-10 sort a 2 for 1 deal.. rum and coke draft beer fernet and coke etc... food is really good it is just a nice place i hang out in... the owners speak english so it is easy to drop in for food.. if anyone wants to drop by.. if one shows great if 10 do more the fun!!!! just down from the big bakery on the corner on Oro... 2476 oro i think .. well if i see one of you or 10..great.. cheers!!!!

Your concern and interest in meeting older yet youthful people is mine too. I live in San Telmo .I always try to meet people to do other thigns as well such as going hiking or doing outdoor activities.. but it is rare that I get any answer so.. here I am. I met a few Xpats at a dinner party organized by the baexpats 5 months ago.. That is an idea to propose-Good luck!

Hi guys, great response, thank you all. Sorry I dodnt get a chance to catch up again till now, and although its now 4, we are planning on heading over to Wherever this evening, but it might be after 5 by the time we get there....
