Anyone watching the Olympic opening ceremony?

As a Brit I'm watching live and enjoying it! The version I'm streaming is the Canadian coverage. When the Argentine team came in the commentators were talking about the political controversy and how Kretina has boycotted the Olympics because of the Falklands.

Is she 3? So childish of her to turn the biggest sporting event in the world into a political agenda for her. But, what can you expect really.

Part Waterworld, part Lord of The Rings, set to the theme of The Exorcist, featuring Mr Bean. I'm British, and found the whole thing a bit confusing, I can only imagine what the rest of the world thought!

I saw it on ESPN and no political comments at all, very sober, and wonderful to watch all along! A great opening ceremony, showing what can be achieved in unity of purpose, which is the spirit of the Olympics in spite of its competitive side.
