If Cristina though that might improve her own chances of a "diamond" jubillee or even a "tin" anniversary for 10 years as HoS then no doubt she would.

Otherwise normal rules dont apply to K diplomacy so I wouldnt be surprised at all if the diplomatic niceties were discarded and no card has been sent.
