I think you misunderstand me sir. I think Chinese, as individuals, can be as brilliant and capable as anyone. But we are talking about a plane designed and built by a Chinese GOVERNMENT OWNED company. With parts build by other Chinese GOVERNMENT OWNED companies. So let me rephrase my statement:

If you were a pilot, would you fly a CHINESE GOVERNMENT designed plane, built by the GOVERNMENT OF ARGENTINA?

You have argentinians military pilots flying A4b Douglas aircraft htat dont have the correct maintenance since some years now and they still fly for the air force and army. Now I think chinesse dont have an option to choose if they will or wont sit in the plane.

So what? Russia makes space stations, nuclear submarines, nuclear missiles.
Would you buy a Russian car? A Russian TV? Would you fly on a Tupolev plane from BA to Sidney? Would you subject yourself to a major surgery when the doctor is using mostly Russian medical equipment? Would you buy and use any Russian product if you had a choice, even knowing that they can build nuclear reactors and satellites?

Do not confuse "Building Stuff" with Developing Stuff" The Chinese and the Argentines can and will build any technology they can steal. So will the Russians, in fact they even built the CONCORDSKI but it never flew.
