Argentina's Sergio "Kün" Agüero becomes a god in Manchester, England

Thinking that UK people care about Argentina is really being far from reality seriously..

Should I post a list of all Argentina-related articles in the UK of the last weeks? I am not Argentine, all I can say is that the UK seems to have a strange obsession with Argentina.

As for the Kun, a man who is worth a championship title, he was not even included in this year's BBC's team. Unbelievable.

I find only strange that the british media don't write much about Agüero. In any other country he would be considered a hero...in Italy he would have a monument by now. His goal was superb and he showed a lot of conviction going for it...he could have tried to look for a penalty on that last challenge, but he didn't and gave ManC the title.
What's the reason for the scarce interest in him? Could his nationality pla a role?

They've got some pretty severe sanctions just now - I'm thinking they're hoping for a Fergus McCann type of miracle.

Of course that means Martin O'Neill, Henrik Larsson and Bobo Baldé or they're equivalents too.

not a chance with greene and freddy sheppard being in this consortium.

hopefully HMRC hit them with the huge tax case and they get liquidised.

They'll end up pulling an Airdrie utd (i think they were after st mirren at one point)

Anti-British rant??? If you call that an anti-British rant, then imagine you would be Argentine and would read most of the posts on this forum. What would that be then?
Your answer reminds me also of Cristina and her followers: if you have a different opinion, then you must be against them.

Anyways, coming back to your articles, if you read them, you will notice that there is not much praise in them for Sergio. For me his was an incredible goal.

Let me rephrase what I said, building a monument for any player sounds dumb to me. But each to their own, I guess.

Cheers, this is what I said. If you don't care about fútbol, thenit is understandable you find it dumb.
Some people buy an iPad, that's dumbt to me.

Most of the posts on the forum are anti K and against her crazy policies not anti Argentine.

But even the Argies cannot love Aguero as much as the City faithful. The former Atletico Madrid hitman wears Kun Aguero on his shirt — a childhood nickname given to him by his grandparents thanks to his resemblance to a cartoon character of the same name.
But that does not lend itself to any chants from City’s fans. They have no special song for their hero and just repeat his first name.

And, not surprisingly, the prolific striker’s goals have made him an idol at City — just as they did at Independiente and Atletico before.

But in football, you get what you pay for and in Sergio Aguero City had their match-winner. A finisher with ice in his veins. Pure quality in the closing stages and the moment the title was won.
Edin Dzeko headed the hosts level before Sergio Aguero completed the most amazing comeback imaginable when he latched onto Mario Balotelli's pass and drilled home the goal that earned City their first league title since 1968.
Even Sky Sports' venerable Martin Tyler screamed when Sergio Aguero's injury time strike won the Premier League for Manchester City.

Not to be outdone, Talksport's Sam Matterface went high-pitched and claimed Aguero had "magical powers"
Sergio Aguero delivers on his promise with golden shot to transform Manchester City
It required a superior footballer – and competitive man – to impose a little order and quality and character on something that was otherwise destined to be remembered as one of football's most expensive and unbridled disasters.

>>>>> Anyway, what really is the big deal? And what's this got to do with Manchester United?

Man City haven't won the title in 44 years, whereas ManU have won it loads of times in the last 44 years and they are each others rivals, with the two stadia just a few streets apart... that's the big deal.

OK, el Kun is a great player, but he did have a few off moments in the season. Personally I would say that Silva and Kompany have done more in the 38 games to win the title.

I'm not a fan of either team but it was great not to see Bacon face or the sour whinging Frenchman win it this season.

just some texts I received from the uk

Alex Ferguson says Man City have bought the title. Cost of starting City team = £161m. Cost of starting United team = £169m
