Arriving in 30 days...need help

The government is trying to raise 30% the tax to imported electronic products (pc hardware, cell phones, tvs, preety much everything).

This is of course, to protect and industry we don´t even have. Some products are assembled in Tierra del Fuego, but thats hardly an industry.

.. you don't have to speak Spanish, but the Argentines like you a lot more if you do.:)
Second that - shows that you care and like Argentina, also wearing the local coat of arms, out here it's 'el escudo de Mendoza' and/or Argentine colors ('pin patrio' both @ AR$ 5) - much appreciated, I receive lots of 'Oh!'+smile, etc.

As a European I find Argentina cheap. No discussion about that. Eventhough prices have gone up, 6 years ago we had to devide everything in 3, now in 5. (5.3 to be exact). Even American brands are cheaper in Argentina then in Europe. (e.g. Ralph Lauren).
- and as for top quality meat! e.g. filete is priced 1/7 of the price in Danmark - ganamos mucho y pagamos mucho.

Dinner at a top rated restaurant in MDZ AR$ 91/person everything included, exactly 1/6 of the cost of same dinner in a similar Danish restaurant.
