Arriving With A Dog!

I used to travel every year with my dogs from the US. All they needed was a valid rabies vaccination - not under a month or over a year old, and the USDA form filled by the vet.

In Ezeiza there was a vet to check papers and dogs - it was about thirty dollars IN CASH five years ago - no extra charge for additional dogs. The vet told me to arrive on a weekday, as the fee doubles on weekends and holidays.

I did this many times; the vets were always courteous and never demanded bribes.

yes you do have to pay something at the airport...don't remember how much it wass and if actually had to do with the size of the dog.

make sure you show the stamp where it says official veterinary to the lady/sir at customs as sometimes they don't speak much English and they get confused!
