backpacking/outdoor gear store

hola everyone! I'm planning a pretty big backpacking trip in Sept (4 month, going from Panama down to Ushuaia) and was wondering if anyone could suggest good stores that would have the necessary equipment? most of my stuff is back in the US but I definitely don't want to bother shipping it, so I kind of need to start over from scratch...backpack, boots, camp stuff, etc etc. I feel like I pass these stores all the time, but of course now can't remember where any of them were haha so hopefully someone else has some ideas. thanks for the help!

Depending on the quality of the stuff you want to buy/can afford, you can go to the brand name stores downtown and pay premium prices or you can start modestly at places like

I have no clue what prices are in Panama but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was both a better deal and a larger choice available over there.
Why don't you Google camping gear in Panama first?
