Burgers In Argentina

As someone mentioned it's all subjective. I hate the thick patties, and after food poisoning from a medium-well burger I'll never eat anything out of ground beef anything but well done.

I like a simple burger, none of those gourmet options. I just want good beef, raw onion, pickles ketchup and mustard. Back home on my last trip I tried Shake Shack, right up my alley.

Here my favorite burger is without a doubt The Embers in Martinez. They now have locations opened at both airports so it can be easier to give it a try on your way out. Inside security in AEP, right before security at EZE. It's been open since the 60s and is a local favorite. They had a fire and had to close for a while and re-opened to a desperate waiting loyal fan base, me included. haha

U$D 28 burger? Who's ready for a Arg $442. burger?

I forgot about the Black Label... That is one of my top 3 in NYC... J.G Melons, and the Corner Bistro take the top 2 spots.

Yes its rare and stupid expensive, but its made of dry aged Ojo de Bife, dry aged Bife de Chorizo, Entrana and Tapa de Asado (Ribeye, NY Strip, Skirt, Brisket) and the meat is the best quality you can buy, most people thinks its crazy to grind that into a burger...

anyway heres a link about the burger... that I have consumed a few times and was more than happy to pay the stupid price...

Only argentines could fall for a ember's burger. I went there with huge recommendations and in the end was very disappointed. Below average (argentine average).

thanks ... after reading all the labor involved in the preparation of the bread the patty and the fries , the oils used etc. maybe the price is correct. The Average price of a Burger in NYC is around $10....? But most burgers are quarter pound instead the Black Label are half Pound. So maybe the price is $8- to $10 dollars higher . Worth a try
