Buying Leather

Anyone have advice on the best places to find and purchase leather products in the city, especially wholesale? Jackets and bags are of particular interest.

Once, you´ll find quite a few places that sell for mayor at a very good discount. More than a few fabricantes too. Be on the look out for fakes but it should be easy enough to tell.

The street for leather clothes is Murillo, close to Av Scalabrini Ortiz. You have to bargain.

I was going to mention Murillo for leather clothing and pre-made items. Unfinished leather (and finished items such as handbags, shoes, etc.) can be found in Boedo (do a search for Boedo and Cuero and you'll find several options).
