Canned Seafood

Checking La Cholita on the web, all I'm seeing is a Parrilla. Am I looking at the right place to find pacu?

Pacu is from the family of the piranha but bigger.
If you are in Rosario go to parrilla Escauriza and order it al chimichurri a la parrilla. They also have surubi (giant catfish), Dorado and Boga.

On Seafood issues Who has the best Grilled Swordfish....? other than Kansas?? where can one buy Swordfish or real fresh tuna ??red solid meat,,,?

There is a pescaderia that also has a very simpke restaurant at the end of the high way to Tigre. At the first rotonda to the legf. They offer all the river fish.

I just had Trozos de Calamar COTO brand. "en Salsa tipo Americana" Country of origin: Spain. (23 pesos)
Pleasantly surprised. Comes with a light tomato sauce that is slightly spicy.
Very good for a quick meal. Recommended.

Res snapper is often called pargo and it's a Caribbean fish not sold here. The fresh fish in Argentina is terrible, unless you want to eat a $380 peso plate of salmon imported from Chile. merluza negra, salmon and trucha is basically all they offer. No mahi mahi, red snapper, or sword fish anywhere to be found.

--I was in Barrio Chino earlier this week, at the smaller of the 2 big supermarkets, called Ichiban. I saw pargo there that looked fresh. I didn't buy it this time, but plan to get some soon and cook it in the Caribbean style.
