I don't understand all the hype surrounding Guiness.

It's watery, has no body (redundant, I know), has no head, has a slightly nasty aftertaste; not to mention expensive.

I prefer Quilmes.

I get it , it's bottled, not drafted, but are you saying Quilmes has more body?

No I ain't. I'm saying it costs 25% less for three times more product (I can't do the math) and provides the same amount of pleasure: not a lot.

ah ok.
Don't like bottled guinness either. But there's a world of different between a decent pint of draught guinness, and the horrible frogspawn you get served here.

"Brewed in Dublin" means that Guinness is brewed in Dublin. The bottle you actually hold here in Argentina (or the states, or most other places) was brewed locally under the Guinness name, and is, in fact, inferior to even American Guinness. In any case, it's a bit of an acquired taste.

At Sugar I saw them watering down the Jagameister, they probably water down the Guinness also...not only Sugar but Buenos Aires in general.

Why is this completely unsurprising to me?
