Cerrado por vacaciones?

It's that time of year again, when half of the businesses in BA close up shop for vacay. Problem is, there's often no more notice than a handwritten sign taped to the barred-up door or window I thought I'd start a thread listing some of the businesses that I know are closed in the month of January -- if you've noticed any, list them here (and most likely save a couple of expats the schlep.)

Museo Xul Solar - closed in Jan
Quinquela museum - closed in Jan
Shoa museum - closed until Jan. 9
La Esquina de las Flores (Cordoba store) - will be closed the second half of Jan
El Rincon Organico - storefront closed in Jan, delivery open
Can't recall the others at the moment...

And does anyone know when Sarkis closes for vacation? I know last year it was Jan 10-30, so I'm hoping to get over there in time.

Hi, I didn't know there was a Shoha museum in BA, have you been there? Is it worth a visit?

I had been at the Shoa Museum when it opened its doors to the public, more than 10 years ago. The museum is small and well done. For further info you can go to:

Oh Sarkis close??? I will have to go there this week if it is still open. That place is amazing.
