Certificate of Residence

I know these question threads get boring so I apologise now...

I'm in the process of applying for a work visa and I have been told I know need a certificate of residency. I'm unable to get one from my landlord and I'm not to sure I could get a bill from Claro with my address on because I don't have a pay monthly phone :S.

Does anybody know what I could do to get the certificate?

Good news Moonwith this is easy. You go to your local police station and ask for a certificado de domicilio. They take down the details of where you live, you pay 15 pesos and they arrange to come to your place the next day to check you live there..you need to show a form of ID passport etc..and hey presto you have the certificate. It expires in 3 months I think so be sure to get one every time you need it...
